  1. Just a short update, I rang the company you used they were very helpful and the price fully fitted was £190 the same as you paid. So have decided to take the car to them and as you suggested go for lunch at the local pub!!! Thanks again Del.
  2. Thanks again Terry, I will start making some enquiries re price and parts Have just had a look at your link - If you have consumed that lot I am suprised you can remember last summer!!!! Cheers Del.
  3. Thanks for such a speedy reply I will contact some companies to get some quotes, at least I now know that it can be done without too many problems. Still on the same subject do you or anyone else know if it is possible to fit the Towbar (any make) without making a cut out in the bumper, as the vehicle is new it would be an advantage not to have to make a cut out in the bumper. Many Thanks Del
  4. Hi all, I have a 2005 2.0hdi Multispace, while I was at my local Indespension trailer depot getting some trailer parts I asked how much to fit a towbar on my vehicle and was told they would not touch the Multispace due to problems they had had in the past when fitting the relay, they kept getting a continuous clik which they say was down to the type of wiring/electrics fitted to my car not suiting the relays they use, He suggested I contact Citroen to see if they had come up with a relay that solves the problem. Have any of you had a towbar fitted ideally to a 2005 model and did you have any problems?? I hope some of the above makes some kind of sense as I am not at all up to speed on car electrics. Many Thanks Del.

  7. Hi Steve, Although Citroen do use and supply the K-Lock it is not one of there products it is made by a company called Osprey Products Ltd. If my memory serves me correctly Osprey will supply one including postage for about £37 which has to be cheaper than a new spare!! As a new owner of a multispace myself I do have to agree with you that there is an issue with regards to the security of the spare wheel, having had a good look at the cradle I think that the hook it sits in is not deep enough which is allowing the cradle to be pushed up enough to release the spare wheel. That old saying that if it is not bolted down someone will nick It springs to mind!! Del.
  8. Hi All, Having read about the amount of spare wheels being stolen I have decided to fit a K-Lok. Have any of you fitted one yourself and how did you find doing the job?? Many Thanks Del.
  9. Hi All, I am new to the forum and would like some advice on my new 05 multispace (with modutop) I have a rattle coming from the area behind the sun visors on both drivers and passenger side it is not always there but given a bit of a bumpy road and it really gets going. I seem to remember reading somewhere that Citroen had made a modification on the new Multispaces by adding rubber grommets to stop a rattle in this area do any of you know of this problem?? if so any feedback would be very helpful.
