  1. Thought I would add my recent experience as I have had to change my headlight bulb on my 2001 C5 Fiddly and awkward ! In the end I removed the battery to get access to the to LHS headlamp backing covers, removed this, then seriously struggled to unplug the connector although made it with perseverance, after this it was pretty quick to undo clip and replace bulb. As I bought Performance (50% Plus) Bulbs on a buy one get one free offer I thought I would replace both at the same time, however I took that long to replace one that it went dark and I still need to do the RHS although access looks easier....If i can move my fingers in the morning
  2. Re Spare Wheel - I've been away for a few days so not been able to post - Thanks for the comments, I'll have another look at the inside of the wheel and the caliper, must admit I'd rather it was as simple as a bolt length problem though
  3. Hi Everyone, I feel a tad embarrassed that this is my first post..however, I could do with some help or ideas. I had a slow puncture recently and when I fitted the spare wheel, (steel full size) it is touching against the caliper I think (although it might be the disc), in any event it won't spin. I've refitted it a couple of times to no avail. The normal wheels on the car are alloys and I was wondering whether it might be that I need a different set of bolts for the steel wheel, as sometimes alloys require different lengths of bolts. (if so there were none with C5 when I bought it second hand). The Alloys look like the original ones and don't appear to be aftermarket. Of course I might be totally wrong ! Any ideas much appreciated. Thanks H
