  1. try turning your air distribution about 5mm back from screen position.. Also there is a sensor located on the back of the display panel cowl.. if it becomes disloged it falls against the heater matrix and tells the system that the airflow is not sufficient irrespective of whatever you set the control at
  2. If you removed the aux belt you should have already chesked both the tesioner and the idler as they are both removeable .. But it does really sound like altinator bearings.. Had mine recond a few months back £60
  3. it is proberbly the water in fuel light
  4. I had the same problem and found that it was the Air Distribution control if its moved all the way to the right .ie screen then the airflow is restricted if you then move it to the left about 5 mm it works perfect full air flow.. Hope this helps
  5. Seems about right, However befor purchasing a new pump I think you should check the fuel shutoff selenoid as on a few models this supply is actualy wired to the fuel through the fuel pump circuit ie the power to the pump is on when the stop valve is open. I know it may seem strange and I am aware that this is no longer applied but still exists on earlymodels
  6.--> QUOTE(tony b @ Aug 13 2007, 08:49 PM) 22620[/snapback]I have owned a Xsara 2.0 HDI SX for nearly 6 months and have replaced the Air Flow Meter twice. It has now packed up for the 3rd time so I lose my acceleration. Is there another problem that could be causing this to happen? There are many reasons for this to reoccur however i would start with the airintake as i have known of the sponge seals to disintigrate and block up the AFM
