:unsure: Hi its Kev Problem solved ! Turned out to a iffy wiring loom connection to the ECU. All sorted thanks to a Citroen auto electrician who knew his stuff.

Anyone out there that can help? Have a 1.9 diesel 2002 dispatch, great van but occasionally doesnt want to start. symptoms are:- turn on ignition glow plug light comes on but then goes out very quickly temperature gauge goes haywire and fluctuates from 0 to max back and forth. turn over engine but no go. sometimes the glow light doesnt even come on and the temperature gauge starts to go up and down. if i keep trying the ignition and leave it for a while the glow light comes on / goes out after normal time and van starts fine. also when does eventually start engine is very noisy and temperature gauge still fluctuates, leave running for a while and noise goes and temperature gauge stops fluctuating. this problem doesnt occur all of the time, only happens at inconvenient times!! any help in solving this problem would be much appreciated. thanks Kev
