Hi - I have a 2.0 Hdi from September 2003 and have similar problems but worse to the power loss as Ian below - it now happens every 3-4 days and I am a taxi driver having done 75500 miles in the 18 months since new! If I do any distance at motorway speeds, as I pull off the motorway it will start happening - if I pull up at lights the revs drop to the 1000 tickover and go from 500 - 1000 without touching any throttle and then won't pull away and I have to feather the throttle to get the revs up to pull away at high revs. Also audible diesel knock - I wonder if there is something with the electronic brain of the fuel injection as yours is petrol and mine is diesel - I have no fault lights showing and have had it checked on Citroen's computer and no faults have shown up. I now have a diesel additive low message showing and it seems that the problem is now less but still there. I have also been advised by Citroen that the particle catcher in the exhaust system (catalyser on petrol cars) may need renewing at a cost of £900 plus labour!!!!!!! I was approached by another taxi driver in a brand new C8 but didn't have time to talk detail - he said he had terrible trouble with his and it had been off the road more times than on! Does anyone have any advice or thoughts on this please.
