Can anyone help. We have a berlingo HDi reg april02 which developed an intermittent fault whilst still in warranty. The engine warning light suddenly came on and car slowed and could not accelerate, Returned to dealer who " cleaned a contact" and gave it back. When fault occurred again the emmission sensor was replaced. The next time it happened the berlingo was out of warranty! It has been happening on and off ever since. Recently more on than off....took back to Dealer who ran diagnostics and advised no fault. The problem usually resolves if the engine is turned off for a short while. Wish the dratted thing would stay broken so that the fault could be identified!! Have asked around and cannot find anyone who has come across this problem....any suggestions...PLEASE. We need to take it to Portugal soon, towing a caravan and are not keen on it failing on a foreign road with caravan on back!
