hi all i am after 4 new tyres for my c5. its a 2003 2.0hdi sx 110bhp when i search online using my reg it comes up with the size 205/65/R15/H94, Also shows an upgrade of 215/55R16 W 93. I have 195/65/R15 fitted on the car from when i bought it, i do get alot of vibration at higher speeds. any idea which size is best to go for? many thanks tony

on further investigation the noise always appears whilst the car is moving. the clutch pedal pressing doesnt make that much difference. it gets better as the car gets warmer. the car has done 104000 miles thanks tony

HI GUYS after investigation this noise sounds only happens when the car is moving, and goes away when you press the clutch pedal. sounds like a thrust bearing then? how much is this likely to cost me? thanks for the advice tony

HI the noise is definately while its running, worse when its cold. i will do as you suggest and get back to you. cheers tony

hi all my 2.0hdi 52 plate c5 has developed a whining noise, it started of intermitent but is now constant. it sounds like a siren, (my daughter thinks so anyway) its beginning to annoy me now after about 2 months. anyone got any ideas? could it the turbo? any help is as always much appreciated tony

hi all just been told my clutch is about to fail, anyone got any experience on this subject? there is a burning smell when i stop the car and the biting point is really high. my neighbour says the burning smell is my clutch?(he is a mechanic, although i prefer not to use him, to close and friendly) any info on: what price should i expect to pay anyone know of a good place to get it done? i live in the south manchester area. thanks as always tony

hi all anyone got any ideas as to why my 2003,2.0hdi rhz engine c5 has such poor fuel comsumption? the trip computer is telling me 34.5mpg on a average week, as its a diesel i would expect alot more. i have changed the oil & filter, the air & fuel filter, but no difference. any ideas much appreciated. thanks tony

hi all my 2.0hdi c5 has over the last few days started to make a noise when accelerating. it sounds like air being sucked in?(quite loud though) just wondering if anyone else has this or if its normal? i havent had the car serviced since i bought it in feb 10, also the air filter looks dirty to me. could it need a new filter, or could it be the turbo? also anyone know of any cheap deals on getting your aircon recharged? as always your help is much appreciated. thanks tony

hi all anyone know where i can get wheel nuts for my c5 2.0hdi sx(alloy wheels) from. ive tried ebay and they are really expensive and you can only buy 4. my locking nut snapped yesterday whilst removing it!!! any help would be much appreciated. cheers tony

hi all this is a tricky one. i have a c5 2.0hdi 2003. there is a tapping noise when excelerating, this seems to be coming fron the engine but isnt there at idle. the noise disapears when at high revs,but comes back if you let the revs drop and then excelerate. it sounds like a tappit? you can rev hard at idle and no noise. anyone got any ideas? any help as always much appreciated tony

hi i have aproblem with my c5, it pulls to the left when driving. i have had the tracking and wheel balancing done. last week and it still pulls to the left. any ideas would be much appreciated i have noticed the suspension link rods boot is split on the n/s front could this be the problem? i have purchased new link rods and intend to do both sides. any help/ advice would be much appreciated thanks tony
