My guage doesn't drop to zero or go up. I think the problem is in an connection somewhere? But where! I hate electrical problems! Paul :(

Hi everyone, I know this may be the correct forum but........................................... I have a problem with my Xsara 2.0HDI (2000) mk1 The water temp and STOP light came on a few weeks ago and i ended up replacing both water sensors and the problem seemed to have resolved itself. BUT alas, the problem has returned!! Top up and bled the system to no avail! Any ideas the water temp guage doesn't go above 75 degrees and the engine does not use water!!! I am at the end of my teather!!!! HELP! Paul

Hello just thought I would let you know if you have experienced any problems of the xsara cutting out whilst driving. I had this problem - it would suddenly loose power and cut out whilst driving, it took the main dealer 2 days to resolve the problem - it was a "dual fuel relay" under the bonnet, whatsever that is?? Anyway, when it was replaced 6 months had no problems again! <_<
