  1. Gaz....The remote key fob is VERY sensitive on the lock/unlock buttons,on some remote fobs, you can accidentally unlock the doors after correctly locking them, just by dropping the key fob into your pocket(or in the wifes case)handbag..I have two key fobs one is much more sensitive,( hair trigger ) than the other, perhaps she has a very sensitive one, that operates at the slightest touch,I have taken to checking my car is locked, then keep the remote hanging on its keyring from my finger, until I am far enough away to be sure I dont accidentally unlock it,before dropping it into my pocket....My other key fob has been no trouble...so perhaps your remote locking isnt faulty at all(With a bit of luck).....Jack.
  2. darren...I had this problem on my 02 citroen C5 (petrol) the diagnosis was ageing cat convertor, this is because the cat gets sooted up and becomes less efficient, the mechanic told me the warning light can be switched off on the diagnostics computer without any bad effects, which he did, the car was running fine with the engine management light on ,...I was just concerned that something might be getting damaged, but I neednt have worried its been running fine,I did take another precaution,by adding an engine additive called BG44,this cleans all the engine inlet valves the cylinders, pistons, exhaust valves and exhaust pipes including cat convertor,my engine had a VERY slight misfire possibly due to dirty valves or valve seats, anyway it cured that too,my engine runs as smooth as clockwork now, GOOGLE BG44 and read the reviews, you'll be amazed...hope this does the cure for you darren,it did for me,and my engine had only 60,000 on the clock......Jack.
