  2. Have a problem starting the car on the very first start of the day,or when its stood for 5-6hrs.I have changed the glow plugs, and I have changed the glow plug relay. When I start the car I dont get a glow plug light showing on the dash,is that correct?? or should it always show on start up. The previous owner for some reason had piggy backed a ford glow plug relay, which is now removed and the wiring put back to the correct place. When I start I get a lot of white smoke from the exhaust, car runs fine otherwise, any help appreciated.
  3. Well done the job, basically they are a plug and play for the normal lights. The only thing that needs wiring is the L.E.D's and the Halo's which are just spliced into the side lights and the jobs a good un.
  4. Has anyone fitted these to their car,and are they a straight swop,i.e plug and play.
  5. Just had mine done and you will need a new back box. However as i found out the original exhaust is in one piece so you have to buy the full system. It will then come in two parts, middle and back box.
  6. The handles are pop riveted on.Might want to check.
  7. Sorted,a simple fuse, but thanks for all the help !!!!!
  8. I cut and swapped the red and yellow cables around and it worked fine. The only thing is it needs to be switched off at the head unit as it will not turn off when the ignition is turned off,
  9. Whilst putting in a new stereo, the dash lights have all gone off. Also the speedo and fuel/temp gauges arent working either.I have lights and indicators but it will be a gamble regarding speed and fuel levels.Any idea's.Help needed urgently.By the way there currently is no stereo in the car at present.
  10. Bought the adapter and it didnt work, basically it is just an extention of the original wiring.I have just sorted mine for 40p. Buy two cable connectors and cut and swop the red and yellow wires around. The central locking works fine as does everything else, except the head up display, still shows outside temp.Only other thing is to turn the radio off at the head unit when exiting the car no big deal though
  11. Dont bother with the adapter as i have just sorted mine for the total cost of 40p.I did buy the CT20CT02 and it didnt work, still had similar problems. The way around this was to buy two cable connectors and swop the red and yellow wires around and now the stereo works great,no problems with the central locking. The only thing that has changed is the head up display doesnt work although still shows the outside temp, and i have to switch off the radio on the head unit when i get out of the car,no big deal there though. Overall i am happy and i am still waiting for connect2 to get back to me after numerous e-mails and photo's of the head unit being sent. (had to re-register due to issues)
  12. I have just bought this part and now there is no power to the cd player, doing my head in now.Contacted Connect2 and they recommended the part number CTSCT003, but after looking it up it says its for a 2006+ model and mine is 2003.Seem to be going nowhere at the minute.Talked to a pal at Halfords and he said all Citroens are a nightmare for aftermarket radio's, his advice dont change it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Just had the car through the car wash and my parcel shelf was soaking wet.I have noticed a couple of drip marks when i have washed it myself, and in heavy rain.Anyone else have the same problem and how to fix it would be a great help.
