OK folks ,I've read a few posts on this subject but no solution. Passenger door handle will not return after opening door from outside and door will not catch on the latch. I have taken the panel off and checked out the inside of the handle but can see no mechanical attatchment from handle to mechanism :angry: is this what is missing ;) ie a cable and if so will a dealer supply it instead of the full bhoona of a latch system. Go ahead folks make my day ;)

Howdi folks first post B) Just to tell you all about my wifes :) C4 1.4 which started to sound tappety about 2 weeks ago and progressively sounded worse. I booked it into a new dealer who are Peugeot but have newly taken up with Citroen since the cars share many similarities. I have just had word that my car has Citroen perplexed. They have sent down the diagnostics which include high oil pressure but no obstruction found so they have given me a loner Peugeot 207 for two weeks which is the worst case scenario as this is how long it will take to order and instal a new engine. I thought this was a tad dramatic as a new set of tappets sounded about correct to me but alas I bowed to his knowledge when the service manager (sound bloke) told me that the same engine in Peugeot 307s has the very same problem and its a straight replacement,no arguments. I,m not too amused by this situation but the fact that the dealer offered me a loner straight away no quibbles sends Motorway Cars way up in my estimation.... :) as I have never been offered any such replacements before when previous citroens of ours have had to go in for warranty repairs albeit smaller jobs
