The Air Con on my 1999 Xsara 2.0 HDi (90) LX doesn't appear to be working. When I press the Air Con Button the light comes on, but the air is not cooled. On previous cars that I have had, when the AirCon is activated you can here the engine tone change as it kicks in, but this isn't happening in the Xsara. Does anyone know what could be the cause of the problem ? I had it regassed just before the winter, because I didn't think it was working when I bought the car then, but I didn't have a good chance to test it until now. Hope someone can help. Cheers.

Hi, I am about to buy a Xsara 2.0 HDi LX, which is a 2001 on an X-plate. I entered the details (reg.No.) into the Direct Line Insurance website and it came back as a 2.0 HDi (110). Please could someone tell me if it is possible to find out if it is the 110 version or not, as I don't want to fork extra insurance for the 110 if it is only a 90 ? The log book doesn't mention it, and there is no sign of 110 on the car. Thanks.
