Hello, Just bought a 2002 1.6i Multispace, colour silver, 65k, 12 month MOT, all rubber stamps, cambelt 5k ago - Citroen dealer stamp. Princely sum of £2995. So not exactly the last of the 'big spenders'. Will use it about 6k. a year rural and motorway. Other cars a VX Astra 1.6 Estate 2001 I share with my son, and a highly eccentric but loads of fun 96 Frontera 2.0 I've had since new (that much Waxoyle under it if I took the wheels off it would slide). Have hired Multispaces before on Lanzarote. Always liked them. Have already Waxoyled the rear suspension units and floor panels. Notice that the brake pipes are exposed (like a 4x4) right the full length of the car, - but no problems - all coated now. When back door is up and it's raining, sure enough, just like it says here - it drips into the boot area (n/s). There is no auto. interior light - I have to manually use the switches. This doesn't trouble me but I take it that a fuse or relay is at fault somewhere. Car handles amazingly well at 80 mph on the Motorway (only ever had them to about 55 before on Lanzarote!). Seems almost impervious to gusts of wind. Was baffled at first why I couldn't open the o/s sliding door when the fuel cap was off, but not a bad idea. I reckon these cars are one heck of a buy, especially for DIY-ers. So this posting by way of a 'hello', and any info. on that missing interior light appreciated. Thanks - T.
