  1. Yes, will keep looking at ebay for a few more days. Thank you for your advice
  2. Hi Paul Think you're right, will bite the bullet and buy the genuine article There's an awful lot of work taking the panel off etc just on the off chance it's OK Thanks for your reply
  3. Hi I have a 57 reg C4 Xsara Picasso Exclusive 1.6 diesel. Lovely car. The passenger side door mirror was damaged by a van. Casing broken & mirror cracked The price of a new one from Citreon is very high but i managed to by a new unit, but not OEM, at a much better price Problem i now have is that the new one doesn't have the kerb (puddle) light fitting I suppose i could take out the old kerb light and fit it into the new one However, the new unit comes with new wiring and so i will be a connection short inside the new one Question is, if i fit the new one and ignore the kerb light will this still be compatible with the existing car wiring. I hear horror stories of cars not starting, computers being messed up etc when making changes like this (pal of mine has a Punto which had problems) Any help would be appreciated Pete
  4. Thanks Paul I will have a good look I tried the dealers for a cover but they only sell complete assemblies at £240 each!! At the moment we're snowed in but as soon as it clears Best regards Pete
  5. Hi Is it relatively easy to replace the entire door mirror assembly on a C4 Picasso? The car is a 2007 1.6 110hp diesel. We managed to catch the N/S mirror and break the outer casing. The motorised turning in facility still works ok as does the white courtesy light & indicator Ideally i would like to simply obtain a casing and replace the old one or buy a complete unit off ebay but just use the casing. Is this possible Any help would be much appreciated Cheers
