  1. UPDATE - I have decided to get rid of this car. Would anyone here on the forum like to collect this car for scrap value? MOT until 14th August 18 Citroen C5 2.2hdi Exclusive year 2001
  2. Hello all, I still own my Citroen C5 :) on Wednesday its arse dropped to the deck and it Pi**ed hydraulic suspension fluid all over the floor. Appeared to be coming from the middle of the car, underneath the central pillar. I got the car home and removed the plastic under tray to reveal the single mild steel 3.5mm feed pipe, and two plastic return pipes. The feed pipe bends up and over the Diesel fuel tank, and is leaking right on the bend! Please see the pictures and you will notice a whitish colour corrosion spot which is where the leak is coming from. Wondering if this can be soldered or braised? Or is there someone who could cut and connect in a new piece of pipe for me? I really cannot afford to spend much money on the car right now, and would be a shame to scrap her for the sake of a leaky pipe. Thanks Mike
  3. Ok then, if it works how much would you want for it? Cheers!
  4. Yes I looked at the white sticker which is the same sticker shown on the ebay listing. My number is: 12543946
  5. Yes that is a good idea, I need to re install Lexia on another laptop, as the screen has died on my laptop. But its defo worth trying another maf unit, as if it cures the problem I will go out and buy one.!
  6. So am I correct in saying that the MAF housing in picture 2 contains both the MAF sensor and the Air Intake Temperature sensor? As when I have removed the housing and looked inside I can see two measuring devices. And the plug connector has 5 connections

  8. I have found an 8 digit number from the underside of the MAF as follows: 12543946 I couldnt see any more info or even a make?
  9. Hi there, Many thanks for the help, i will go and take some photos shortly and look for the serial number of the MAF sensor.
  10. Hi coastline, many thanks for this. So could i assume that on my engine (2001) that both the ait and maf sensors are located on the engine side of the airbox assembly? Or is it likely to be else where?
  11. It's the air inlet temperature sensor. It's marked with a red arrow. Hi johndouglas. That pic isnt the same engine as mine, but i looked at my maf or map sensor in the airbox assembly and there is two sensors in there?
  12. Also where would i find the AIT sensor in my engine bay?
  13. Also what is the AIT sensor?
  14. Hi coastline, was wondering if you might be able to take a look at my car sometime? If i were to bring it to you?
  15. Hi All, I have finally been arsed to look into my NSR door only but a few minutes ago. I can not see a white plastic cover, however there is one behind a large black plastic cover which has one torx screw in it. I removed the torx screw but could not get the black plastic cover off, so I ripped it off with some good old plumbers grips. I then saw the behinds of the child lock (red plastic), so I inserted a small flat blade screwdriver into it and turned it anti-clockwize until it clicked. I was then able to open the door by pulling the rod. So what is happening now is, when i close the door the central locking sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. What is happening is: I lock the car and I cannot open the door from outside, but I can now from inside once the car is unlocked again. When i lock the car, the door will lock. But not unlock, that is before a few good whacks to the outside of the door I finally got the central locking working again! I played around for a good 10 times, locking and unlocking the car, and every time now the door will work correctly. So it got me wondering if I should remove the lock and try lubricating it? As maybe there is something internal which is sticking slightly? I will give it a go perhaps later on and see how things go. Failing that I assume I could get any old lock from a breakers yard, as there is no barrel to worry about? Thanks Mike
