Hi All, I have finally been arsed to look into my NSR door only but a few minutes ago. I can not see a white plastic cover, however there is one behind a large black plastic cover which has one torx screw in it. I removed the torx screw but could not get the black plastic cover off, so I ripped it off with some good old plumbers grips. I then saw the behinds of the child lock (red plastic), so I inserted a small flat blade screwdriver into it and turned it anti-clockwize until it clicked. I was then able to open the door by pulling the rod. So what is happening now is, when i close the door the central locking sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. What is happening is: I lock the car and I cannot open the door from outside, but I can now from inside once the car is unlocked again. When i lock the car, the door will lock. But not unlock, that is before a few good whacks to the outside of the door I finally got the central locking working again! I played around for a good 10 times, locking and unlocking the car, and every time now the door will work correctly. So it got me wondering if I should remove the lock and try lubricating it? As maybe there is something internal which is sticking slightly? I will give it a go perhaps later on and see how things go. Failing that I assume I could get any old lock from a breakers yard, as there is no barrel to worry about? Thanks Mike
