Hi My Girlfriend has just bought a C£ 52 plate 1.4HDi and when driving home yesterday it was fine but today we have noticed that driving down the road all of a sudden the temperature guage lights come on fully nd bleeps then goes down to 2 or 3 bars, is this normal or should it just rise up to the 2/3 bar stage slowly? Hi Cliff, Do you find that the car is dropping in the same areas and is it at all on a slight hill where u r almost on the brow but stopped, mine does it at the same place so I have put it down to resting so it is level thats the only thing I think yours could be doing if doing it randomly then I would go back to the Citroen Dealer and ask for a proper check and not to just chnge things just to make more unnecessary money.
