you need a 1/2inch drive 22mm 12point socket

the oil to use, is Total 10w40 Semi synthetic, when refilling you need to use 3.2 litres of this oil if its a petrol engine.

when the c2s came out at the begining they had a recal on SOME of them relating to what u said. only the pipes were rubbing on th splashgaurd.

you have probably figured this out by now, but on the right hand side of the battery there is a black handle type thing press down on it and give the battery a real good pull it will come out

alright mate, the MAP sensor is a fairly common fault on the 1.6 16valve petrol xsaras, your problem sounds to me like an ignition problem, probably spark plugs or a coil pack
