Hi Yep, I'm new here - found the forums after we bought a second hand 03 reg C3 sx. The foums have answered many of my questions just by spending a little bit of time reading old posts - so thanks! Our C3 currently has the standard Clarion head unit in it, I can't decide whether to go down the adding the dash cd changer, or putting my JVC CD/MP3 head unit in. I understand that I'll need various adapters to add an aftermarket. I keep seeing the main one - an InCarTech 28-650 with support for the C3's multiplex - has anyone on here used this adapter? If so, how happy was your car with it installed - does everything else still function properly - I've read about: Fuel computers not working once stereos have been replaced? Does the display in the middle of the dash still work (I know it won't show stereo info - but does it still display the time/date)? If, at a later date, I wanted to re-install the original head unit - will it plug back in and work straight away (will the car and stereo remember that they once were paired together)?
