Does anyone know if I just the Pneumatic actuation needs the electric plug or can it just run pneumaticaly?

Hi Thanks for the reply a garage is fitting the part and when I spoke to them about fitting the core we really dont how to change it and how big a job it is. If you can throw any light on this that would be great as I am sure the garage would be willing to do it with some idea.

Hi My turbo is whistling and I am trying to find out which turbo I need to fit. I own a C4 VTR+ 110HP 2006 reg the vin number states its a 9HY engine code I believe, and the turbo is a Garret but everywhere I look I cannot find the OEM number that matches the numbers on the turbo. The numbers on my turbo are as follows. 9660493580 762329-7 JF903132F Am I correct in thinking that the engine is a DV6TED4? I am hoping someone on here can help me to find the correct turbo and even someone may have one for sale. I have been looking all over the internet etc and cannnot find it anywhere. Thanks will look for his posts, surely if you replace the cartridge you have to replace all the oil pipes etc as well or it will go again.

Thanks Paul I did wonder if this was any good as it seemed a bit strange. I wanted to clear my ecu etc to see if that would help with my fuel gauge problem. I was told to disconnect the positive lead for 15mins and that would clear everything, well I did that and it cleared nothing not even the radio stations. I guess I should do the negative lead instead of the positive one.

Anyone know if this is safe?

Hi I filled it over flowing as the fuel came out from the over flow pipe so I know its full.

I have a similar problem if someone could help please. Car went in for full service 2 days ago, oil,filter,diesel filter, air filter etc just filled up with fuel right to very top and the gauge is still reading a bar from the top empty and the trip display is still reading what it was before the service. Any ideas on what could be wrong? Could changing any of the filters etc have caused this fault? Many Thanks

Many Thanks Paul I think I will go for the Total Quartz 9000 5w40 I believe this is fully synthetic and will be ok. Do you recommend those engine flush things you put in with your old oil and run them for a bit before draining the oil? As I checked my oil and it is so black I am not sure when it was last changed and want to ensure the engine is as clean as it can be before adding new oil, I don't really want to use a engine flush as it can destroy the seals in the engine. One more thing I have read that Citroen main dealers are now using Triple QX oil instead don't know how true it is but read it on a forum. Many Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Just 1 other thing. So is saps C3 oil better to use than C2? As I was going to buy this. Hi I need to do a oil change and have looked through a lot of posts on here and have gained some knowledge but I am still at a loss. Can anyone tell me what oil I need for a C4 2006 1.6HDI? Do I need fully synthetic or semi synthetic and what do C2 and C3 mean also what about the 5w30 or 10w40 parts mean? Which is better? I know I need low saps oil but its still confusing. Is this any good? Triple QX SynPlus 5w30 Fully Synthetic Car Engine Oil 5L - Low Saps C3 Or is this better? Hello Can anyone tell me the best OBD2 scanner to use on a 2006 C4 1.6 HDI VTR+ as there seems to be so many out there and would like to get one for resetting engine management light and fault finding etc . Don't really want a Bluetooth one. Cheers
