  1. Unfortunately, in my haste, I did not disconnect the neg(-) when I removed the seat. I will try that now and see if I can reset it.
  2. Thanks dave I'l try that. But just to be sure, the flashing light has nothing to do with the removal of the driver side airbag (and seat)? If so, that is great news!
  3. Similar issue, only mine is self-induced. I swapped out the driver seat for something a bit more supportive/comfortable, and in doing so, had to disconnect that side airbag. Anyone have any idea how I can bypass the airbag warning light. I realize I will be messing with the total airbag warning system if I try to just bypass the light. Would a dummy plug work perhaps? Complete the signal loop? Not sure if the warning system is based on this though... Any ideas are appreciated.
  4. Hello everyone, Has anyone attempted to replace the front seats with something more comfortable? I actually commute a fair distance daily (110 KMs) and if I could upgrade one thing about my car it'd be the seats. I've thought about about finding some nicer seats from a Peugeot 207 or something similar, but not even sure they would fit. I've looked a quite a few of the "tuner" style aftermarket seats, but I don't really need 5-point racing harnesses and the like. Rather a more supportive seat in the lumbar area, and general comfort... Any tips or ideas is greatly appreciated.
  5. Not sure if it's as moist here as there but we do have quite of bit of rain and snow here in the south as well as the coastal weather patterns...I tell you I think the worst is all the salt used on the roads during the winter. While I understand and appreciate it's usage, it's hell on the car's exterior...
  6. A few of us have done this. Trico makes a line of wipers called Exact Fit...relatively cheap...I don't recall the model number but the C1 is now in their catalog at the shop, so I just looked it up and then bought the 14" model with the same "c clip" on it. It works...pretty well. It definitely wipes more of the rear window but due to the curve at the top of the window it "misses" about the last 1" as if the wiper blade is not in contact with the window. I'm sure it would be a welcome improvement to the right-side drive C1s; I understand that they left the wiper on the left regardless of that... It cost 79 NOK here in Norway...which is very cheap for here...can't imagine it costing more than £5 in the UK. I saw a rust post earlier in the thread. We get a 12 yr rust warranty here in Norway (it's quite moist)...does the same apply in the UK?
