my 2.2hdi wont start when i turn on the ignition i cant hear the pump running so i tried directly to the battery and it worked so tried it again off the ignition no joy ran a test from the plug on the filter to the plug on the pump the negative was ok but the positive there was nothing can anyone help me .this happen about a fortnight ago but changed the filter and charged the battery and it started happened again last week while shopping but finally it started got it home and now it will not start

my n/side light went out so replaced it with a new one this seemed to work for a while then started to flicker the igniter and bulb had shorted so bought a ballast unit and replaced the old one with a used one when installed the problem was still there can anyone tell me if the bsi could be the cause? the ballast was tested and guaranteed regards geordie c

my nearside light has gone out i replaced the bulb but still flickered and went out so i bought a ballast but did not cure the problem both ballast smelled of burnt rubber my question is could the bsi electronic module have something to do with this?
