Cheers, I read that and just realised that the command wire is dead so I don't suppose earthing the pump was worth trying until I put a live feed in the command socket. Weekend job I think for safety reasons. Thanks for help, I'll let you know of any progress. Regards, Mudlark.

Hi. Fuse OK and earthed pump body but still dead. I can change pump but worried about command faultTrouble is I can't drive the car to get it plugged in. Maybe there's a mobile service. I'll try to find out. With these dark evenings you don't get much chance to do anything so the job drags on !!!

Hi. I have a 2003 C5 2.0 HDI and the pump has stopped working. He height control in the centre console brings up the images on the display and changes them but the pump does not run. I have accessed the connectors on the front of the pump via the OS headlight and the command wire is dead but the twin plug is live. I ran a wire from the battery to the command socket on the pump but alas... still dead. PS ignition was on !! I am wondering if the pump siezed and blew the fuse for the command wire and if so where is it? Has anyone else had this problem or know what it might be. Obviously the car is not worth spending fortues on with Citroen dealers . Thanks for reading this. Any help would be wellcome.
