  1. my car is citreon c5 hdi exclusive on a 03 plate 5 door hatch
  2. I don't even know if it has hydractive suspension, have been on ebay looking at rear axles and on filling in details they have stated that I don't have this suspension, the mechanic (I don't have a clue ) told me that he could not get a strut from citreon as they don't have any in stock and don't know when they are getting any in told me to purchase a used axle as this would be cheaper but am finding this even difficult as I cant find the exact model as I am led to believe that the petrol and diesel models differ- I am in limbo
  3. hi please could someone tell me if c5 03 plate 2.0 diesel rear axle is the same as the petrol version,(like for like) if not would I be able to use the struts and sphere off the petrol model to fit my diesel as one of the struts is split so need the strut and sphere, would really appreciate it if someone could advise me
  4. I pulled up and noticed I have hydrolic fluid leaking from rear end (back)passenger side near rear wheel. underneath there is a spring (shock absorber) which joins to a large mushroom shaped object which then connects to the strut which connects to the wheel (sorry about the NON technical terminology). it is the actual mushroom shaped piece that is leaking. I don't know what is called but there is one et both sides of back wheels and both have a mini bore pipe running in to them. it is only leaking at one side, theres quite a loss of fluid, theres no warning lights on dash and power steering is still present, also the back suspension has dropped a fair bit but still raises when I turn keys in ignition, could anyone please tell me if this is a big and expensive job or an easy fix and what the name of faulty part any advice welcome and appreciated thanks
