  1. Heya all, I know where the fuel filter is, But is it a case of twisting the box it sits in till it opens, replacing it. Squeezing the ball to bleed the system and going for it? http://www.the-filtershop.co.uk/shop_ordered/3821/shop_pic/big/C021.jpg?time=1378803700 Am not used to these sorts of filters so I have no clue.
  2. I was trying to make the strip light side light part look more fancy with LEDs you see. Am hoping night will show the difference.
  3. Just want I wanted to hear, So they will be fine then. Thank you.
  4. Heya, I wanted to change my sidelight bulbs for LEDs. I bought some 3watt ones off ebay that are quite bright. However there is only one issue, they stay dim when the car is not on and when you turn sidelights on they go bright. Why is it they remain on when the car is off? Lack of resistance ?
  5. The dealer had a issue with the V5, It was on private plates and were trying to get the DVLA to swap them back. They managed to get the DVLA agreeing to tax it with no DVLA and the DVLA has sent a new V5 to my address so I have nothing at the moment apart from my finance docs. I do have the MOT at my other house though. The 2.0 HDI has quite the pull when you put the foot down, Love it to bits and hopefully when all the repairs are sorted it shall be a dream to drive! You can post photos using the Image tool in text box. You then upload a photo to Photobucket or Flickr, Then copy/past the URL int other image part and off you go. Am a mod on another fish forum that uses the same IP Board so I know my way around :P And I will agree, I tried pulling the AC sticker off and it left some nice crappy stuff behind it so I left it there. I might try this de-icer on it.

  7. Sadly I don't have a V5 yet and the MOT docs are at my other place so I can't check it. I can say however the service book is correct with the mileage so am fairly sure it's spot on. Plus it came from a car dealer and was not a private sale.
  8. Yea Paul, I've had nothing but issues when I bought this car. How is this remotely possible on a 2007 car with under 49k miles? It sounds as if it's been driven through a minefield .
  9. Am not going to be checking, I just wanted a fair idea what it could be so when it goes to get fixed I don't have them fussing over nothing!
  10. Heya all again, I have wheel play left and right, also when you hit the wheel there's a loud knocking noise. There's no play up and down, Is this a steering rack or track rod end fail? Seems quite bad and there's quite a fair bit of knocking when you drive it.
  11. Ah I see, So yea. Mines does not have it. Great news for me! Thanks a lot of your help though Paul. Made me want to keep this car badly now, On to a winner :P
  12. I had a look at the website, Would a eolys tank be under Gas recycling unit? Or would it be under fuel and air supply. As both of them don't show any signs of a DPF or Eolys tank in parts.
  13. Well it's nice to know I have the same injectors as the C5 but without the DPFS etc :P Quite the catch this car was then! Well worth keeping it then, Am honestly quite happy with it. Anyhow, Yes there's knocking when I go over bumps and potholes at the fronts, Upon moving the drop links theres quite a fair bit of play in them. So I think it's time for a replacement! I have a yellow plastic dipstick, Can you order something that's not going to break off?
  14. Sorry for posting in the wrong section, Still finding my way. I guess I never noticed that the engine is used in more than just my type of car. It's like audis 1.9 TDI which is used in most diesel cars. I'll let them fix the seals and replace the EGR valve for free. I have to talk to them about the drop links too as they seem rather broken to me. I think my new rule of thumb will be to sniff the oil for diesel and check that the fluid is not too high or too low if you think this is suitable?
  15. Thank you Paul. I went onto citroens website recall part and it called my car a Non fap. Would a elloys tank still be installed on my car then if it's a non Fap model?
