I went along to the citroen dealer in finnieston street here in glasgow to have a look at the new berlingo. And what do i see as i walk in the door ? the new NEMO ! it still has not been officialy released yet ' but according to the dealer it,s just a show model to let customers have a good look . first impressions are that it is quite small but the interior is a good size . But i got a shock when i asked the price of the base model . £9500.00 ! The new berlingo base model with the larger 1.6 engine is only £500.00 more , and it is a lot more car for the money . What are citroen playing at here ? The nemo is a good bit smaller than the new berlingo and to my mind it should cost at least a grand and a half less than the much larger berlingo . Whatever happened to the cheap entry level citroen MPV ? If and when it does become available for sale , at the end of april .according to this dealer , i could be tempted , BUT only if it comes at a more reasonable price say £8500.00 i just do not see it as being worth almost the same price as the much bigger berlingo .

nothing yet , i do not expect to hear anything about UK prices until about , may or june .

i have been looking at some french websites , and this pic is popping up all over the place as the new berlingo . also several of the french sites have mentioned an official announcement from citroen is due on the 17,th of january . i think it look,s great . i will be replacing my 2005 model in just a few months time , and it look,s like the new blingo is the one for me , depending on price of course .http://mrmoto.smugmug.com/photos/238695539-L.jpg

my berlingo will be three years old come july , and will be up for replacement . so does anyone know anything about the rumoured updated blingo that supposed to be coming for next year ?

anyone have an idea of the value of my 2005 1.4 petrol engined blingo ? 21,000 miles just had it,s second service and is clean both inside and out .

there have been lots of rumours about a new four wheel drive blingo due for 2007, maybe they will take this chance to update the whole blingo range. i can wait as mine will be three years old come 2008, so there should be an updated model out by then :D

:( yep, i got done for the outrageous crime of travelling at all of 81.01 miles per hour on the m6, in a 70mph limit !!! by one of those mobile tax collection vans parked on an overhead bridge.. three lane motorway minimal other traffic early in the morning . 3 points and a £60.00 tax charge :D still i suppose i was lucky considering the number of times i have travelled that same stretch of road on my old gsxr1100 motorbike at ummm, something over 80mph :huh: ;) .

if i did not already know that citroen will have a new 4x4 model planned for 2007 i would be very tempted by one of these camper conversions, cool campervan

just a quick update, the first service cost me £165.00 at arnold clark-citroen in linwood paisley, the same place i bought it from last year.

look,s like you are in luck, according to channel4,s 4car section mitsubishi are supplying citroen and peugot with it,s own four wheel drive technology for use in citroen and peugot cars, with the new 4x4 models due in 2007 :D

now that fiat have made a 4x4 version of the panda, i wonder how long it will be before citroen come up with a new 4x4 berlingo? and i seem to remember that there is a 4x4 version of the Renault (Rubbish) kangaroo? would you be interested in one ? :)

hi, i have had my 1.4 forte for about nine months now, and was just wondering what to expect on it,s first service. ie... what is involved and how much should it cost? btw, it is a 2005 berlingo multispace, i.4 forte with a,b,s . thank,s look,s like a very usefull site .
