Hello, this is my first post not had any problems with my car before. sorry title should say car won't start! can't seem to change the title. The car has been laid up since just before christmas and went to start yesterday and it wouldn't i assumed a flat battery but jump starting still won't get it going. The remote locking won't work even with another battery connected and all that happens when you try and start the car is the engine turns over. The lock symbol on the dash seems to stay illumanted wen turning it over, can't remember if it did this before? i have also tried reprograming the key and changed the batteries in it. I was thinking something has gone wrong with the immobiliser while it has been parked or something? Any help would be much appreciated as when i parked the car it was fine and had been 100% reliable.
