Hi, I have got a Xsara Estate HDi. Recently the lock would not operate on the boot. The car is fitted with the solenoid type lock operated by the switch. The relay does click so I assumed it was a fault in the lock. After purchasing a new lock and connecting it to the connector without being fixed to the body and with the boot open, nothing still happens when I open or unlock the car. I only have power down 1 wire, the other one i think is earth and not sure what the purple one does. Anybody have any ideas please? Any help would be great as I am currently still working on it. I dont want to fit the lock and close the boot incase it will not open. Thank you
