Hi, 1st timer here. My dad has a Y reg C5 V6 Exclusive - superb car, only problem to now was a faulty alternator, the mileage is really low <30K - so it is a nice car - worth more than the actual value if you know what I mean! Recently, my dad noticed that when the car is cold in the morning the main info screen (sat nav, fuel computer etc) is working perfectly, but after 10 minutes or so, eith when the car has warmed up or the screen itself, the screen goes a dull green and flashes to normal blue every now and then. Other than that the system still works ok. He has been to 2 local dealers who have said they have dismantled the system and can find nothing wrong - which is annoying, but I get the impression the fault is beyond their limits. Has anyone ever seen this fault before? Know what the fix is? Or alternatively, anyone know any really good dealers who know what they are doing and actually carry spares without payment up front?
