  1. Yes can hear it priming. Decided to put fuel in and some jet cleaner but it's not starting again this morning.
  2. Don't know whether to drain the tank or just try filling it with some decent fuel and see how it goes.
  3. The other car is also a citroen c5 but it's the 1.6 diesel engine and it's 2005 reg estate. We filled up at Asda. Tried it this afternoon and it's starting and running perfect :/
  4. Hi. Wondered if you could shed any light on my problem. I have a citroen c5 2.0l hdi 2004 vtr which has been working fine till about a week or so ago. It had the cam belt changed in February by the way. Firstly it would intermittently not start. Changed fuel filter, air filter etc and carried on as normal but was still intermittently not starting up. If you leave it for a bit and then try out would fire up. Yesterday drove it home from work and parked it outside the house for 20mins and when I came back out it started and cut out and then wouldn't start but still turns over and then stayed and cut out again. Can't get it going. Another thought is my father filled up at the same station as me when this all began and his car is also having similar problems, could it be the fuel? Any ideas? Thanks
