  1. Hi Paul, thanks for the info. took the car back to the garage today, or rather my wife did as i was working, they have tested the turbo and it is working as it should do, but there is a problem somewhere else, they think that the `Particle filter' is covered in oil due to the turbo seals failure, and also maybe there could be a problem with one of the vacuum tubes/pipes, which they need to check. car is going in next week for them to check the pipes as they think maybe one of them maybe split.... heres hoping!! will let you know next week, thanks, The Kid
  2. Hi all, this is my first post so im not quite sure if i am in the right place for asking for advice. i have a 2003, 2.2 c5 diesel estate which i am having problems with. about 2 months ago i was towing my caravan when the turbo packed in. i had to be recovered home and then had a reconditioned turbo unit fitted. i was on holiday at the time of the breakdown and had to be recovered to leeds. with the replacement turbo fitted i returned to Bridlington with the car working fine. at the end of our holiday, with the caravan connected, the anti pollution fault appearred on the display three warning lights on dashboard, service, engine management, and esp/asr warning triangle, then a loss of power, all the way home travelling on motorway in 3rd gear at approx 35- 40 mph. after a few days this appears to clear then all is normal. took it back to garage where repiar was done and was told this would happen as oil had been sucked into turbo and tubes/pipes and would just be a matter of time for it to clear. it has this problem about once a week but clears after a couple of days. went to Flamborough last week and it started as we got onto M62 at Gildersome and didnt clear until we pulled off and switched the car off for approx 30 mins. the warning triangle went out and appeared to have power back, for about a mile then it re-faulted. cleared again while we were away, then faulted again while coming home today, making a trip from Flamborough to Gildersome taking just short of 3 1/2 hours. any ideas or solutions please, thanks in advance
