Pop the top of the central consul around the gear lever and get your hand under the switch and squeze the catches eiter end of the stitch, pull switch out and unplug it.

Problem, rear nearside door could be opened from outside but not inside. Got a mechanism from an Ebay breaker. Haynes said remove the outside door handle by sliding the white part of the handle system inside the door to release the outside handle, the piece referred to is very difficult to see and will not move, I found two pop rivets need to be drilled out to remove a plastic part under the outside handle then the piece to be slid can be seen and moved, then the cable attached to the handle can be disconnected, unplug the remote lock cable and screws then the lock mechanism can be shoe horned out. will need to remove door guide as well two screws.

C3 has an electronic clutch on the A/C compressor, the compressor does not run all the time, is controled by the climat controle temperature setting, the lower temperature set the longer it runs. On my car I can just about hear it on tickover but not wlist driving. If it is verry noisy check the bolts holding the pulley on to the compressor.
