  1. Hello, Last week end I cleaned my 2010 C3 PIcasso. On the roof was a big lump off seaguill ***oops*** which was a bugger to shift. I removed it with warm water and the halford own brand car shampoo/wax. When washing the detergent off I noticed that my effort to remove the poo had actually marked the painwork, it lkooks as if somebodfy had use sandpaper ! I used a soft sponge that was designed to put on car wax but as its a handy shape I just use it for washing so it's not abrasive at all (or shoudln't be) It very soft. I did have to rub hard to remove the seagull poo but I didn't think I'd acutally damage the paint work. Is this a problme with my car or do Citroens have quite thin paint ? Thanks for any help, Nick.
  2. Hi Folks, According to the manual, my C3 Picasso 2010 Exclusiv should have Bluetooth. Having followed the manual I cannot find the option for Bluetooth in the dashboard menu. Also the Manual refers to a "Monochrome Screen C" as an alternative to the normal display called "Monochrome Screen A". I can seem to access this "Monochrome Screen C" either. I think I may have the wrong radio/CD player or I'm doing something wrong, Help and advice is much appreciated, nictu.
  3. Cheers, I'll give it a try. Nictu.
  4. Hello, Cleaned the dashboard of my C3 picasso with an old but clean microfibre cloth (damp not wringing wet) and warm water with a bit of washing up liquid in it and now the dash has smears which are proving very difficult to remove. Can anybody suggest how I can get rid of these horrible lookig smears? Many Thanks, Nictu.
  5. Thanks for the reply, but I seem to fixed it. On the door there is a small hole below the door catch. It's provided to manually lock the doors should the system fail, e.g you stick the ignition ket in the hole turn it slightly and shut the door and it's locked. So I stuck the ignition key in this hole and waggled the mechanism, it's very light and this seemed to work. The door now opens from the remote control. Because the mechnism is so light I think that slamming the door moves it into the lock position. Have tested the door a couple of time and all is well. Thanks for the help, nictu.
  6. Hello, I have a problem with the central locking on my 2010 c3 picasso. The problem is with the drivers door and the remote control key fob for locking and unlocking the car. The first time the problem occurred, when the car was locked from the remote control, all doors would lock except the drivers door, but if your used the key in the barrel lock to lock the car then all the doors including the drivers door would lock normally. I took the car in to the dealer at this point but when I got there the engineer could not find any sign of the fault as all the doors were locking and unlocking normally from the remote control! Now a couple about 6 weeks later the drivers door will not unlock from the remote control, the complete reverse of the above problem, but, again if I use the key in the barrel lock then the car locks/unlocks normally. In the first instance I have tried reprogramming the key fobs by putting the in the ignition and holding the 'lock' button for 10 seconds but this did not work. I have two remote controls by the way and one is obviously older than the other but the problem occurs when using either remote control. Does anybody have any idea as to what could be going on? Help and advice is much appreciated, nictu.
