  1. Hi Rob I had exactly the same with a C4 and that was the drop links
  2. Hi all I managed to get it out in the end there was 2 bolts in the middle radio gap that held the dash to the cross member, for reasons best known to citroen the had placed black tape over them making them invisible. The reason for the removal was to repair the heater flaps which were both broken in exactly the same place both sides obviously a bad design. Repair has been done and almost all back together it has been an experience not for the faint hearted will let you know in the next few days how it went and if the repair was successful.
  3. Hi I am in the process of removing the dash on my c5 2005 1.6 hdi vtr to the best of my knowledge I have followed all the steps in the Haynes manual but it seems very reluctant to budge is it normal that it would need force or have I forgotten something do you think ? anyone had a dashout ?
  4. Hi Sorry its taken me so long I don't get a lot of time no work has been done recently. On doing your checks I noticed that when on hot with the blower working if I change the directional arrows to the centre vents, I get hot air out of the passenger side and cold from the right hand side it doesn't seem as hot as I would have thought but it is actually cold on the drivers side. Any help ?
  5. Hi I have a 2005 c5 1.6 hdi with dual climate control, when I change the temp on the digital display it continues to give cold air. If I change the distribution setting to feet and screen and have temp on max if I put my hand down by the centre consul below the gear stick I can feel some hot air coming from both sides but cold air both sides blowing on the screen any help I am totally confused I am new to the forum and have a few probs with my c5 but this is the most annoying and now its getting cold !
