Recently I had a problem with my Xsara sx where I pull the trigger for the front screen wash and the back screen wash would go. I researched the problem but couldn't find a solution, so took the car to a garage fearing it may be an electrical problem with the pumps. Luckily it was just a blocked pipe. That could probably be solved at home if you can get to the pipes (or have some compressed air). And luckily I took it to a non-dealer garage first to check (costing £15), where as my local citroen dealer said it was going to cost £50 just to diagnose this small problem. Just thought I'd post this in case anyone has similar symptoms. Tom

I have a similar problem, the remote locking doesn't work at all. And the rear wiper goes when I press the break. However. Breaking hard seems to stop it happening. Not sure if there's a loose wire or some water's shorting something. Quite confusing though. Any clues or similar problems?

Hi, Does anyone have a list of paint codes for the xsara please? In particular the red 1998 Xsara sx 1.9td if possible. I have a new wing mirror cover and need to find some paint for it. Many Thanks, Tom

I also have the same problem. The battery in my Xsara was changed recently, it blew the fuse for the cigar lighter (which I could change as it's listed) and the remote locking wont work, but no fuse information for that is provided. Does anyone have more info or has anyone found a solution? Many thanks for any ideas/help that you can provide. Tom
