Just spoke to Citroen, that box is for parking sensors, so am not worried about that, how can i wire boot up so it opens, i dont care about boot being able to open when all doors are locked, so is there a way i can wire it up so it opens. Can I take a direct live feed from battery to boot switch, or is it best to do it through a relay.

I have found a issue, i think may be to do with it. With boot open facing boot, if you take of side panel in boot off side, there is a black box fitted to body with a wiring loom and plug going in to top of box, and 3 or 4 wires going into the side, the loom on the top when i unplugged it the plug has been damaged by water and is corroded badly and rusty terminals, is this box for boot locking, if so what is this part called. Thanks

I have already opened it with the screw driver in the hole. There is power to switch, but nothing at lock, I bypassed the switch but still nothing

I bought a c8 form auctions, got it home, boot will not open. I found out ffom google search, that washer pipe for rear window, comes apart from join behind plastic panel by rear side window, so checked and it has, so re joined it, but water had been sprayed on boot wiring loom join plug. I cut plug of and reconnected with chockey blocks, but will still not open.
