Hello people i have recenty fitted a new alternator belt to my 2.0L hdi citroen relay van all routed correctly but since doing this i have started getting a rattling noise and on looking at the crankshaft pulley found there to be fresh wear maks like the pulley is on the piss. On reading further ive heard about a eccentric tensioner now im worried i have damaged something please can someone tell me if its just a case of release normal tensioner and fit new belt and release tensioner or are you meant to do something with this eccentric tensioner if it has one any help would make me very happy.
