  1. Hi, to add to the long list of problems with this car I now have a passengers rear door that will not stay open!! Removed casing under the upper hindge to find it full of water/muck! Problem occured after a frosty morning were both rear doors would not open fully! Gave them a little encouragement only to be met with a disturbingly creaking noise ! Gradually the door resistance has gone?? Does anyone know of a fix for this or is a new hinge require as it seems to be a complete unit with the normal hindge brackets! If so is there anywhere I can replace cheaply ?
  2. Hi. I have experienced this also, first the led brake light and now the washer pipe! Manged to bodge with a piece of rubber pipe, which is only just working! Once again shitroen living up to their name. I now have a passenger rear door that will not stay open! To say this is worst car I've ever owned is an understatement!!
  3. Hi Paul,, got the removal keys but cannot see where to unclip the unit, do you have a diagram?? Also if I disconnect the radio/ battery will I need a code to reset radio( it is a nav +) Thanks
  4. Thanks Paul,, should be able to have ago at the weekend,, have you experienced this problem before?
  5. Hi, I've read several threads relating to the flaps,, I think it's just the control, a couple of weeks back after being tapped a couple of times the temp can be adjusted and when altered worked as norm, hence why I think there's a problem with the contact on the control knob, but don't no how to access it?
  6. 2009 c5. Hi does anyone know how to access the climate control selector,,, it recently was not adjusting until played with for a while, now won't adjust, think it's a loose wire or bad connector! When working was blowing correct temp so just think it's something loose.
  7. Hi, can anyone tell me what size of tools required to remove caliper to replace pads/disc. Also can you push back the pistons on the Front, this had always been the case in previous Citreons and the wind back tool only required for the rear??
  8. Ok will let you know the outcome, Cheers.
  9. I've read different threads regarding this elsewhere, some say there isn't and others they've had tank, filter and sensor replaced?? There appears to be a cable going into it, is this maybe the pump?? It's in at the stealers tomorrow for a leaking rack, so I'll try probing them for an answer, either way I need the light removing,, any idea on how much they charge?? Will chance my arm and see if they'll do it under warranty!! Failing that are there any kind lexia owners near me?
  10. Do you know if there is a sensor in the tank or is it just the ecu that needs to be programmed? (2009 tourer)
  11. Was broken on the very end of tailgate.
  12. Hi, I've recently had the dreaded " dpf fluid too low light" come on. I've refilled it with 2 1/2 litres of eloy fluid( probably would've taken another litre), but can't get the warning light off? Tried using a Bosch diagnostics machine but still can't clear the fault? Was still showing as zero litres Does it need to be reset using a certain procedure or only a lexia?? If so are there any kind people around the St Helens merseyside area with one who could help?? #Frustrated taxi driver
  13. Hi,, I had a similar problem a couple of months ago, I would check the cable on the left hand side of the tailgate before replacing, I found that a wire had snapped, managed to reconnect and insulate and now working fine.
  14. Thanks Paul, sorry for the late reply. On inspection I found a wire snapped on the tailgate, manged to reconnect and insulate, but will get it replaced under warranty when in at the dealers Thanks
