  1. Thanks for the advice everyone. madmadmax I live on the south coast in Seaford. Cheers :)
  2. Is it possible to get a non remote key cut with transponder (I have the ignition key number). Was thinking of getting this just to be sure it's nothing to do with the key and it's little circuit board and battery being damaged.
  3. Thanks Paul, I've tried reinitialising the key using instructions provided but with no luck. Where would I buy a transponder from? The car isn't moving anywhere obviously so can't take it to a dealer without paying someone, so I'll try the £5 replacement transponder first. Cheers Stu
  4. Hi, yes I did but it didn't make a difference. Tried it also without holding it down as stated in the "pinned" bsi reset topic in this forum. Cheers
  5. Hi all, I have a Citroën C5 2001 3L Exclusiv I haven't used it for a couple of weeks and when I tried the remote key didn't work. So unlocked it with metal key and alarm went off etc. Anyway, then I couldn't start the car, it was coming up with some security type warning in the box, then after a few tries it's gone into energy saving mode. So I took battery out and charged it up, put back in and followed bsi reset procedure but still only comes up with energy saving mode and engine turns over but won't start. I only have 1 key. Is there anything I can do? Thanks :) Stu
  6. Thanks Paul, it might actually be both the rear corners moving up and down, but being on the drivers side it's the only corner I noticed, lol. Are the height sensors easy to recognise? I've been leaving the car in the low position when I park it now which has stopped it from moving about by itself. I'll see if I can find the height sensors and give them a spray, thanks again :-)
  7. Hi all, Yesterday I bought a 2001 C5 Petrol 3.0 v6 Exclusive SE. Its great! :D I've noticed that when I park and lock it, the rear offside suspension keeps moving up and down by itself. I joked with my girlfriend that it's like Herbie, and it's wagging it's tail like an excited dog hehe, but is this something I should be worried about? Thanks :) Stu
