  1. Is it easy to remove the motor? My 08 c5 exclusive has just done the same as yours. What have you done to fix the prob. Cheers Mike
  2. My X7 has just started to play. The wipers have worked perfect, sensor fine. Splash of rain today and the right hand wiper shot up as normal, the left didn't move at all. When the right hand one reached vertical it then just moved maybe 3 or 4 inches in a sort of flap? Left the engine running and tried to move the left one incase it was stuck. I could move it but felt resistance, ( from the motor)? I then moved the right back to park and it stayed there??
  3. I thought that too Paul but they are quite different. The strip has an angle on it...trust the French...so a simple replacement strip wont fit, It'll stick out. Also its curved at the end. I contacted a scrappy but he wanted to sell the whole rear bumper.....for $$$$.
  4. OOps sorry, its the newer version 2008>. The estate exclusive doesn't appear to have the chrome strip, I saw a couple of estates being broken online and coulodnt see the chrome strip.
  5. I reversed into a pole and the bumper is fine as it flexed but the chrome strip along the top of the boot is crazed. Apart from $$$$$$$ from a dealer, anyone know where I can get a replacement?? cheers Mike
  6. my 08 C5 auto is a right pita at times and I wish i never bought the bloody thing especially with an auto box. Does anyone else have a similar prob as me..... It is piggin slow to change up a gear. Going up a hill, it drops down to 4th, lovely jubbly, but then going over the brow and down the hill onto a flat, it'll just stay there........I have to flip it across and change to 5th....6th or I'm doing 60/65 in 4th at 4500 rpm!!!!!!!!!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
  7. The other day whilst driving my 2008, late model, auto oil burner exclusive, I went to change up manually and accidently didnt move the lever over to the left and then blip up. I just moved it into N and then...oh ***oops***...moved it back into D again. He ho I thought. Then for some reason I had a brain fart and thought..........have I done any damage, I know, I'll flip it over into manual and try to change gear...it didnt want to...bugger. So I put it back into full auto and it stayed in 4th, a big fat SERVICE light came on and a tiny small warning light right above the "D" came on. Got home 2 ticks later. Switched it off, started it up and the service light was on and that litle warning light...bugger. Went inside, got a beer and sat reading the manual to find that the warning light isnt mentioned. Anyone have any idea? Yesterday, went back into my garage, started it up, no SERVICE warning, no little warning above the D. ???? damn those frenchies.
