Hi me again , they showed it to me and there seems to be leaking from where the cylinder meets the sphere due to corrossion, they insist to change the whole kit, sphere cylinder bushes o-rings and the whole kit. Could it be that only one part needs to be changed?

Hi, After a long trip in Europe I had my rear left suspension set fail in Switzerland from all possible places. Could anyone give me a ball park figure of the cost to repair it back in the UK? Over here they are asking for the equivalent of 1000 pounds, ten times the cars worth. (2002 c5 hdi hatchback 90 bhp)

Hi all, My rear left brake caliper was found to touch the rim and make a grinding noise under moderate braking. The garage swapped wheels but the problem was not solved, he was puzzled and his solution was to grind down the caliper a bit. Has this happened to anyone ? Could it be a serious safety problem? Greetings Citroen fellas, My 2002 Hdi 90 pulls to the left and has its front left tyre wear badly on the outside. I have had the wheels aligned twice and the pulling was reduced ( it still pulls). The car passed MOT two weeks ago where they found no issues. By Googling I saw that this can be a camber adjustment problem but camber cannot be adjusted on the C5 .There is a clanging noise coming from the left front side when going over small bumps on pavement and I was told that the drop link must be changed on that side. Could the drop link cause the pulling and the wear? Any ideas, hopefully inexpensive will be appreciated. Thank you in advance Silas

A refurbisher gave me Garret 706977 for replacement but anything used I find has part numbers such as 9645247080 as for example here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITROEN-C5-XSARA-PICASSO-PEUGEOT-206-307-2-0-HDI-DIESEL-TURBO-CHARGER-9645247080/261618946465?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140122125356%26meid%3Dabce6c7be84342bfbf8ec0fb5a5207a1%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D161437044204&rt=nc and salvage yard will not match it to my car. Is there a way to physically see the turbo and take a pic of it? Thanks in advance Silas

Hi everyone I just got diagnosed with a failed turbo and quoted 800 pounds to fix. (02- 2.0 hdi 90) The car is 02 plate and not worth that investment. Tried to find a used replacement but I am not sure how to id the part number so I get a compatible replacement. Any help is appreciated Thanks Silas

Thanks a lot Paul, got back this afternoon checked the coolant level and it was full to the max so I started her and none of the previous lights came on, no problems whatsoever so I assume my French lady was capricious in the morning.nevertheless I do appreciate and thank you for the advice.

My old 2002 LX turns on lights as soon as I start her' are they daytime running lights? I have tried to turn them off( press the end of the lights stack with the key on position 1) but as soon as she starts she turns them on. Also, they go off when I use the left indicator so there is a short somewhere. Any ideas as to turn them off permanently or at least correct the malfunction with the indicator as to I do not want to have opposite coming vehicles thinking I am signaling with the lights off
