  1. Hello I wonder if anyone can help me with this problem. I did a test with my Garmin Sat Nav and my trip mileage on my C4. I did a 10 mile run, and the trip mileage was 0.6 miles more. Has anyone had this problem before, and if so how can it be corrected? Regards Pat
  2. Yes thats what the garage said, is this costly to fix? Regards Pat
  3. Car going to a citroen specialist tomorrow, says a common problem is inlet valves. This makes sense as when I switch on heater I can smell diesel a bit. The mechanic was very helpful at ATS, Regards Pat
  4. Oil change done, was flushed. Ats mechanic, reckons it was not a tappity sound, and reckons its an exhaust gasket instead. Anyone else heard of this problem? Regards Pat
  5. Hello, I cant afford a main dealer, as ive just lost my job. Ats have my reg number and checked on the shell website to get the correct oil. I will make sure they drain the oil properly.. Regards Pat
  6. Thank you again, I have booked my car in for a oil filter changer, flush and oil at ATS for £55 tomorrow. They tell me they are using shell oil 10/40w. Regards Pat
  7. Hello, Thank you for all your help. I will try and book my car into the garage tomorrow. Is it ok still to drive it? Regards Pat
  8. Hello I have a 08 plate C4 1.6HDI Catchet. Ive had it for 6 months, and in the last 2 weeks, I have noticed that the engine sounds very tappity. When the car has warmed up about 10 mins later it quietens down. As I am new to citroen diesels, please could someone let me know what may be causing this? Regards Pat
