How easy is it to change the Headlight Washer. I had to get new caps to replace one that was broken, the other day the cover was laying on the floor. When I looked, the ram itself had a clip missing, so I need to replace this. Do I have to take the headlight out or the bumper off etc, or can I do it without having to take anything off? Thanks for any advice given

On My 2003 C5, It doesn't show up when you turn the cruise control on. There is a switch on the stick you use to control the speed to turn it off and on, however I always leave it on and I activate it by pressing the + or - button when I want to use it. As you know it disengages when you touch the brake or clutch pedals. If it starts to accelerate when I press the + key, I press - key, this resets the speed to what you are doing. Hope that helps a little.

I have a C5 2.0HD exclusive on 03 plate I have just had the Head Gasket done. I got the car back on Monday Yesterday Morning, the brake pedal was as hard as a rock when first started the car up, then after a short while (less than 30 seconds) the brake pedal was functional. The same happened when I left work in the late afternoon and again this morning (Friday) From what I can see the vacuum pipe is bolted on tightly Has anybody ever had this problem either after having a head gasket done or otherwise. This may seem like a very stupid question, but where is the fresh air intake for the cabin. I have a can of Air conditioner cleaner and sanitizer and it says spray into the fresh air intake vent. Thanks in advance

Is it possible to replace a bulb on the centre display (the one that shows the temperature, mpg, radio station etc) as one side of mine doesn't light up when I put the ignition key in. I have seen a video about replacing the unit, but from the video, I couldn't see if you could get to a bulb. Thanks in advance for any advise

Thank you for your reply. I let the garage have the car overnight and they said it doesn't do it for long enough to be able to diagnose. They suspect the pump which at the top of the engine but until it does it more often they say it's not worth doing anything otherwise I could be wasting money.. Which seems logical I will double check the hydraulic fluid level though.

Hi Guys/ and Gals (thought I needed to be politically correct :rolleyes: ) I'm after some advice I have a C5 2.0 HDi Exclusive I have what sounds like a belt squeal when I turn the steering wheel into full lock first thing in the morning or when its been sat still for a while. It doesn't seam to happen after the car has been moving for a little while. The garage said it could just be the auxiliary belt, or it could be a pulley or tensioner. They can't seem to pin point it as it doesn't last long enough Has anybody else had this and was it just the belt? Thanks Chris
