Hi there, Names Martin, and have just joined, even though I have had Citroens for many years, (much to the consternation of my long suffering wife!) I first fell in love with the marque way back in the sixties when my German uncle had a DS what a car! Although my memories faded over the subsequent years I ended up with a ford a nissan then a fiat before spotting a BX estate that had parked next to me in the local supermarket and seeing it float up and down! got rid of a the fiat for a BX saloon then had another BX after discovering the one I had bought had been clocked! Soo I was a BX fan for years then I had my all time favourite a CX DTR 2.5 turbo diesel now that was a beut but unfortunately it had the ubiquitous porous block but failed to see a long life after being written off in a head on crash! next was an XM 2.1 diesel VSX auto turbo estate in silver with fake wood trim and black leather seats, lovely car. Auto gearbox failure and not enough cash ended my affair with HMS Darlaston (it was a big car!) and now I have been running round in an C5 2.0L SX Auto saloon. Not a patch on that old CX or XM though. Would love a C6 but my wife is wagging her finger at me? All the best. Mart
