C5 Rear Wash/wipe Doing It's Own Thing

I was just googling the exact same issue as Jonesy is having - I have an 08 C2 with a haunted rear wiper. Can go for weeks with nothing, then it'll get OCD about cleaning the back window for a few tries. Frustrating, but while it works I'm not spending any money on it!
