  1. Nearly 58k. Actually that makes sense. Thanks for your time.
  2. Hi, I have a 2011 Citroen C5 Vtr + Nav Hdi and recently when accelerating over about 2500 - 3000rpm the revs suddenly start increasing more than they should do without any real acceleration of the car, as if I had the clutch in. Happens more when in 4th and 5th. Car moves off when stationary ok. Something up with the turbo perhaps? Don't have any warnings. Any advice would be very welcome. Thanks m
  3. Yes its on the body. Will take a look. Thanks for your help.
  4. Hi, The seal on the driver side door frame has split and is rapidly deteriorating. I've only really just noticed it. Does anyone have advice on the nest place to order a new one and are they easy to fit? Citroen dealer? Thanks Mike
  5. I'm thinking a re-spray is the only option here too. How would I find out the right colour for this trim? I take its the same colour used on the center console too. Cheers
  6. Hi, I'm trying to find the right solution to mend the surface of the painted silver internal door handles that have some wear. Please picture here : http://cl.ly/image/1t3b2p422C0q I think the lacquer has worn away on the handle. Any recommendations? Thanks
  7. Thanks for this. Interesting. Well I don't any any squeaks now so a squirt of WD40 seems to have done the trick but I will keep an eye on it. I don't have facilities to to get under the car to check the rack but I might take it to a mate who owns a garage and get him to check it over for a few pints! Thanks for you help, much appreciated. Cheers
  8. UPDATE After taking off the trim from under the column so I could see the steering shaft I realised the noise was come from around the u-joint where the shaft goes into the floor. Added some WD40 and after some wiggles of the steering wheel the noise slowly drifted away. Didn't have time for a run out but will check back to confirm all fixed.
  9. Yes I agree going in gung ho is probably not the best. I'll take the cover off and see if i can locate the area. Thanks
  10. Its inside. It sounds like its coming from the steering wheel itself, in-between the actual wheel and the column structure. It does sound like it needs oiling or something. What would the best approach be? Squirt some down the gaps between the wheel and column? Cheers
  11. Not sure its the plastic shroud thats causing the squeaking. Sounds more metallic, metal on metal than on plastic. Will give it a try as up for any solutions. Cheers
  12. Hi there, On my 2011 C5 Tourer, when i turn the steering wheel it squeaks a little, perhaps 2 on a full lock either way. For example if i turn a corner it will squeak once then squeak again when the wheel returns to its normal position. It sounds like it needs a little grease/oiling etc. Any suggestions? Many Thanks
