Hello friends! My Citroën C5 2004 is showing an airbag anomaly message. I'm from Brazil so it says it in portuguese, I don't know what is the text in english. Connecting the Lexia, when it's scanning the car's display shows for a brief moment that the problem is with the passanger airbag (the message just blinks when the scan is running), but the fault code that I read in my notebook is P1802 - Fault Permanent fault Driver's level 2 airbag igniter Open circuit I've been reading about airbags, and now I know that there's 2 plugs on each airbag for 2 impact levels. From the message, it seems like there's a problem on the wiring of one of this 2 connectors on the passanger or driver front airbag, is that correct? It seems odd to me that the car shows passanger and the lexia shows driver. I disconnected the plug under the passanger seat with the car running (and now that I know something more about airbags I'm afraid of doing anything with the connectors without the battery unplugged for 10min) to see what happens, and a new fault showed up (P1808 Fault Permanent fault Front RH side airbag igniter open circuit). It disappeared when I reconnected the plug. Also I desabled the passanger airbag with the car key, and the fault that appeared was P106F Fault Permanent fault Passenger's airbag deactivation Not defined. Again, dissapeared. I did that to have more information about the wiring and the messages. So, another day, now with the battery disconnected, I removed the cap behind the steering wheel and unplugged and plugged again the 5 plugs that's there, and I removed the steering wheel airbag to see if there was anything strange with the connectors (but didn't disconect them), doing the same with the passanger side airbag (just visual inspection, without disconnection), and didn't see anything clearly wrong with them. Do you have tips for me? I should look at passanger's or driver's side? Which one of the plugs is the level 2 (there are two collors, blue and green if I remember it correctly)? Should I disconnect the plugs and see what happens with the faults? I think when I disconnect the plug that is in the problematic circuit, there will be no new faults, just the one that's already there, since it's an open circuit fault. Thank you!
