I bought a 2nd hand xantia some time ago, and until now it has simply been new tyres now and again. Now I need a new driver's side electric window mechanism. The parts number is different for the 1.8i and the 1.8i 16V. and knowing nothing about cars, and finding nothing on the car's paperwork, I have no idea which of the two I own. How do I identify my car please? (I've been lucky with the weather down here in SW France so far, but it is bound to rain soon and I'll want to close my window!)
