Hi All I recently had a NCT (MOT) on my 2008 1.6d VTi+ C4 and it failed on a imbalance in the front shock absorbers, Ibought two FYB absorbers and fitted them to the car, after a month I heard a squeaking noise on the offside front of the car and also a rattling sound on inspection I found the shock absorber to be unseated in its housing,it is about 1 inch proud of the housing, it looks like the rubber has been penetrated by the shock, I took it apart and refitted but still have the same problem, I have to sort this as its going for NCT again on Tuesday next, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
