  1. I'm now having the same problem. I tried to repair the split with an expandable rubber sleeve and some tie-wraps and it appeared to work. However, I noticed that there was still quite a bit of water running down the internal gutter and onto the ground. When I checked again, not only has the pipe severed, but there are loads of tiny hole in the recesses of the remaining part :( . Like drpacmanhu, I removed the rubber grommet, but managed to get mine back in by removing the plastic clip and then installing the grommet into that first. I notice that he has managed using soapy water, but may be easier if done outside of the car by removing the plastic clip first since it does not look very strong? I notice what you have done with the small plastic C clip as well, just in front of your new pipe. Did you remove the one which was behind the grommet and put it in from of the grommet to prevent the new pipe moving through the grommet? I do not have one there unless it has fallen off. Great pictures by the way Nevvco.
