Hi. I have a C5 VTR PLUS NAV HDI (2010). Air-con wasn’t working so I had it filled up about 6 weeks ago. When it was being filled I was told that ‘it held a vacuum, so it looks good’ and it did work very well when I tested it on the way home, the screen iced up etc. The weather’s getting warmer now and to my dismay it’s not working.. I questioned myself that I was not activating it properly: press A/C, the green light comes on, and turn both heat control knobs to LO, pretty sure that’s it, isn't it? I think the garage that filled it added the infer-red dye, and I have a lamp so I can have a look. I’m just posting encase there any common weak spots that are worth looking at and if anyone has had air-con problems, might be able to give me a heads up..

I am the recent owner of a Citroen C5 VTR PLUS NAV HDI (2010) 1.6 diesel estate, manual, 046000 miles. I have a few questions for C5 owners, having spoken to Citroen garages a few ‘warnings’ have been mentioned during conversation, and some problems I already have, and as this is my first C5 I’d like to get a feel of what I am in for: Has anyone found heavy tyre wear on the inside if the tread at low milage, power steering seals failing at low mileage, sat nav screen switching off mid route, crank shaft oil seals leaking oil over the aux belts, and I have been advised to change the engine oil & filter every 6 months, regardless to mileage as the engine could seize. Any thoughts ..

Found the mic. If tap it with my finger the person on the other phone can just about hear it, but it it isnt sensitive enough to pick up a voice in the car, not even a lout shout.. so its wired, just not sensitive enough. Gonna have to take it to someone with a diagnostics device..

There s snapped wire and a few bodged tape repaire that someone else has done, looks like all the wires are on the way out, I'm not a sparky so I'm probably looking at a new loom :( or someone who is willing to do a nice repair ..

Hi, I have a C5 VTR PLUS NAV HDI (2010), wiring breaking up inside the gaiter at the tailgate hinge. I dont want to tape it up I want to have a replacement loom, or at least a competent repair. Anyone had this problem before?

Hi, I have a C5 VTR PLUS NAV HDI (2010), got my iPhone connected via Bluetooth, but when I try to use the phone no one can hear me, but I can hear the other person through the car speakers. Is there a setting where I can adjust the mic gain, or a setting on the iPhone? I’ve tried my wife’s iPhone, same problem, I’ve been tapping the dashboard trying to locate the mic but I can’t find it to check maybe it’s been damaged during a valet, any ideas please. :mellow:
